ABOUT US.
Brighton Family Medicine, LLP is a small group practice affiliated with Accountable Health Partners (AHP) and located in the town of Brighton, NY. Since our beginnings in 2001, we have specialized in patient care from newborn to geriatric. We strive to meet the whole-person needs of our patients with care and compassion. Our practice is composed of providers and staff who enjoy getting to know their patients and their families and provide you with consistent, patient-centered care. Want to meet our team? OUR TEAM
Christine C. Borghi-Cavallaro M.D.
Dr Christine Borghi-Cavallaro graduated from the University of Rochester School of Medicine & Dentistry and received her Family Practice residency and training at the Medical Center of Delaware. She is an accredited fellow of the American Board of Family Medicine. She enjoys serving on medical missions trips to Nicaragua and Honduras and is actively involved as a board member of House of Hope International, an anti human trafficking ministry, and Family Life, a faith-based resource for families. In her free time, Dr Borghi likes to travel, cook, and spend time with friends and family. Dr Borghi has been in Family Practice for thirty years.
Laura J. Booth M.D.
Dr Laura Booth graduated from University at Buffalo SUNY School of Medicine & Biomedical Sciences and received her Family Practice residency and training at Duke University Medical Center. She is an accredited fellow of the American Board of Family Medicine. She enjoys keeping herself busy with the practice, business, travel, book club, and her church, Asbury First UM Church, where she plays the bells and flute. In her free time, Dr Booth likes to garden, scuba dive, and travel with her six children and one grandson. She also particularly loves collecting rubber duckies. Dr Booth has been in Family Practice for over thirty years.
Jerold Desimone received his Physician Assistant degree from Hahnemann University and his masters in Medical Science from University of Nebraska Medical Center. He is board certified in medicine and surgery by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and has experience in Family Practice, Emergency Medicine, and Urgent Care. Jerry enjoys spending time with his two children. In his free time, he likes to read, collect books, study history, attend concerts, and work on projects around the house. Jerry has been in practice for thirty years.
